Points for Paso

Published December 28, 2012

Whenever you run to the store for a few things in Paso Robles, don’t be concerned if no one asks you if you’d like a bag. The law there is to charge $0.10 a bag so most cashiers assume you wouldn’t want to pay that. Most locals are already in the habit of bringing their own bag when they go to the store so the town is one step closer to godliness.

The county also has a law against removing or uprooting an oak tree. Quite an earthwise community!
