Paso’s newest tasting room, Vino Juan, has more than just well-crafted wines and a great view of the downtown square. Juan, the cellar master, pours his deliciously bold creations while walking you through his winemaking story. His hard work and dedication to his craft are evident in each taste.

Our first taste was a pale pink rose wine that hinted it might have a light body. But it was packed with an array of citrus and watermelon flavors that made it the kind of hearty wine to pair with a feast. Next, he let his cab lead the reds! It had an amazing aroma of eucalyptus and other herbs with bold blue fruit profiles like blueberry and black cherry. Our favorite was a zin with enough white pepper to balance the ripe berry characteristics we crave from zins.
